And Now It's Time To Say Goodbye

I'm headed home. Things happened and now I'm done with Europe. So, stop checking in at this site 'cause it's done.

Adieu.

Did the Cannes Cannes

I walked this bad boy.

Wish you could have seen me in my whole suit look. No one was there to take my picture, so this is what you get. But try to imagine "Super Fly". Is that still an acceptable phrase?

I saw the movie Babel. Not bad. If you like to be depressed after walking out of a movie theater this is the film of the year for you. Actually, it's very nice. It's got two important attributes within the story. It portrays several examples of how good people can accidentally cause horrible events and it shows what the world is like when there is no grace bestowed upon the individual. A valid issue for most. See it if you can... can, can... Cannes. Later.

Nice is Nice

We're in Nice, France. We are staying in an apartment that dates back to the very early 1900s. The town is busy right below us. Each morning we get up and go to the bakery located on the first floor of our three story building. The ocean can be seen from our balcony. The people here are very kind. I don't know why the French have received such a bad wrap in the states. It's not deserved... At least not in Nice. We're going to try to go to Cannes for the festival in a few days.

I'll post more pics soon.

This Post is Dedicated to Cubism

There's not much to show from Spain, but here's
the Picasso Museum and Paul's interpretation of Cubism.

See? There are Picasso's in there.

A cool tower that we walked past in Barcelona.

Here's my new do. Very Spanish.

Second Trip To London

Okay, here's some imagery from our second trip to London. We took a screenwriting seminar and checked out some sites we didn't get to see last time around. (Like the London Bridge.)
I had to try it. I never made him laugh though. I'm a failure.
London Tower
Our London Tower tour guided by a Beefeater.
The Bell Tower where Sir Thomas More was held. He was martyred on a hill a few hundred yards behind here.

Off to Spain.

Wrapping Up Greece

Hi. Here was our hotel balcony view of the Parthenon on the hill back there.
We visited the Parthenon hill.
Here is Santorini. This was our villa looking over the sea.

Here's a good shot of what we saw from the courtyard of our villa. That's the Santorini volcano in the middle of the sea behind the phone pole.

A Look Back On Ireland

I have finally unlocked the archives and have selected a few pics that I hope you'll enjoy. ...So, enjoy.

To start, here's a previously unseen picture of "Druidic Paul" in St. Stephen's Green, Dublin.

Here's a cool church in Dublin. We went into a few churches that had unbelieavable architecture and art. This one had a huge dungeon/crypt with ancient artifacts.

See?

This window is huge.

A hobbitish looking door. I love the design.

The primary evidence of the exsitance of ancient youth groups.

The priest's quarters.

And here was my girlfriend in Ireland. We met here at the Jameson distillery. After spending the day together we split up due to irreconcilable differences.

Hola

Well, we're now in Spain. We got here about a week ago. So far we've seen Barcelona (the Picasso Museum), Madrid, and now Guadalajara. I have to admit neither Paul nor myself really like Spain. It's just not that cool. So, we have decided to get out of here and head to Southern France. We'll be there in a few days - somewhere near Cannes.

What else? I think there's a golf course near the hotel that we're currently at, so I'm going to try and teach Paul how to golf. Should be fun... For me.

You know what's crazy about Spain? Everybody is white and yet, no one speaks a lick of english. It's a mindtrip. Maybe that's why it's not that cool. Everywhere else we've been in Europe we've been able to get by with english, but here - good luck. I'm barely scraping by with the spanish I know.

It's been especially frustrating when we see some beautiful women that are just waiting to be approached and there's nothing we can do about it.

ME: Hola, me llamo es Jeremy. Como te llamas?

Her: Hola Bonito-guapo-bonito, me llamo es "Rosalita". Que blah blah es blah el oiwr aobiearoiurh gr[ogihjawr[oighjwroig?

ME: Paul, let's go.

So that's Spain. Hope you enjoy it whenever you visit. Talk to you in France.

Adios.

Check'n In

We're now finishing up our second visit to London. We just finished a three day writer's seminer with Robert McKee. It was very interesting. ...A little too long though. Each day was an 11 hour lecture.

We also caught the Les Miserables musical a few nights ago. Great story... Don't know that it was best told as a musical, however.

Tomorrow morning we fly to Barcelona to begin our Spain leg of the tour.

I tried to download pictures here, but to no avail - surprise.

Hope you're all very well.

Cheers.
